So we have a new member to the 504 apartment... meet the huge ass hookah. It's that beast in the center. To the right of it is Foobar, if that gives you any size relation.

We enjoy our hookahs here. At the very least, I can say I enjoy a good smoke of Double Apple and Raspberry tobacco from time to time. If you've never smoked from a hookah before, it's simply a fantastic time. One session lasts about an hour or so, and is shared among friends. The tobacco is mixed with flavored molassas which gives it a rich taste, and the smoke is cooled by the water in the bottom giving a very smooth smoking experience. Thanks to Flohr and the great people over at Woot I will be recieving a new toy in a few days time. What is ths joyous toy from those Lords of Cheapness over at Woot? I am the proud new owner of a BFG FX5200 256MB Overclocked PCI Card. Now this isn't the best card in the world by a long one but it's about 300x better than the ATI All-in-Wonder Rage 128 Pro I'm currently running. Yes, kiddies, you heard me right... the geek himself is running an almost 10 year old card. Plus it was only $35 including shipping so I am more than happy, at that price I'd be happy for something less even. But BFG are really good cards so all is well. Ok, I'm out.

Nick and I happen to enjoy wine on occasion. As bachelors who happen to enjoy various spirits, libations and alcohol, we tend to look for various ways to contain and deliver such drinks. For our money, we use the standard 504 Eastmoor unit of measure.

We're still looking for a container to fill a kilomug... though I fear a teramug would be a physical impossibility.

Well I finally made it back to the valley after an almost 2 month stint in Columbus. I have to say that I couldn't be happier. It's nice to have a change of scenery and to see my family again. You may wonder why I love my little changes of scenery so much. Let me tell you though, when you work and live in the same building it's nice to see something different. I can go almost a week without leaving the apartment if I don't have to go out for meetings or have something to do. Let me tell you, stir crazy doesn't even begin to describe it. I'm surprised the Flohr and I haven't attempted to pull a "The Shining" on each other yet as he is in the apartment about the same amount as me. But needless to say I am happy to be home with my giant computer monitor and peace and quiet for the moment. This will probably change by the end of my two week stint and I will be berating the area and hating everyone equally until I get back to Cbus. On a amusing note Flohr and I went for our general Eatn Park run to get tasty goodness. All is well and we can survive another month or two as we've had our desert fix. I'm going to be heading up to the Burgh sometime this week as well to get my Primanti fix as well. Ah, I love it when business and pleasure mix perfectly. Ok, time to go crash.

Here we are again with more video goodness for you. This little ditty involves Nick avoiding the Wrath of Angela (to which he does not escape, sadly) and chasing after the illustrious Foobar. While you might be thinking "Oh, poor Foobar!", he gets treated quite well and is generally a very happy kitty. Except when being chased. Or held. Or when fighting with Llama, the other 504 cat.

This evening Nick and myself will be taking our hometown by storm, so there should be some great townie video coming up soon.

Yet another motion picture for you! This one features Spence and one of our cats, Foobar.

Today we feature Spencer wanting to show off Foobar's galloping ability. You see, Foobar doesn't really "run", per se... it's more of a gallop - his front legs and back legs remain parallel at all times. It looks pretty damn silly if I do say so myself.

Anyways, Spencer runs into a problem during the filming and does not coerce the cat into the famed "Gallop" mode. Instead, he gets the "Scratching" and "Rubbing Your Leg" modes, respectively.

A tad bit late for Halloween, but it's still good for a laugh. Spencer's get up for this year was a zombie wearing a rather remarkable t-shirt. Bonus points if you can figure out where he got it from.

Anyhow, he spent some serious time clogging up the bathroom, but the results were well worth it - unlike other times when someone here clogs up the bathroom. Ew.
